Uncle Harry was nominated for the Bradford High School Hall of Fame. The ceremony was between the JV and Varsity basketball game on Jan. 8,2011, at the High School. This recognition comes from back in 1946, when Harry was the supertindent at Bradford and the BB coach was called away to the army. There was no coach so Dad took over. The team went all the way to the final game of the state tournament. He was always remembered in Bradford by members of that team, so much so that after he retired as County Supt. in Clermont Co. the members of the Bradford Church of the Brethren asked him to come back to be the pastor at their church, which he did for several years. There are still members of that team around and they nominated him for this honor.
